Beijing Amphibio

At the Beijing Technology Expo that began earlier this week, Beijing Jeep (a long-time partner of Jeep) showcased their first amphibious vehicle.

Based on the BJ2032S platform, the 3/4 ton modified jeep is a capable off-roader that can also reach speeds of over 8 mph on water -- while nothing to brag about, certainly not bad considering its hefty weight.

Despite clearly intended for non-civilian applications, it didn't stop curious spectators from asking "Can I get one?"
