The rise of Shanghai...

Shanghai Automotive Industry Corp., to be exact.

Having spent most of my adolesence in Shanghai, and being the car fanatic that I am, I'm naturally drawn to any automotive news coming from the other side of the pacific...and as of late, things are really getting heated up:

so maybe one day in the near future, instead of the crowded street of Shanghai being filled with the SAIC's versions of VW's and Buicks...they will be replaced by a #&^*? I guess it's too soon to speculate as to what that new brand will be... but personally, I'm leaning towards "Shen" -- an old chinese character that represents Shanghai which also translates well into a symbol as it's very symetrical...I will post an artist(me) 's rendition of it later.
