Ferrari FXX

AutoWeek reports that Ferrari has confirmed plans of building roughly 20 of the so-called "Super Enzo", despite earlier denials.

As the XX in the name suggests, this car's performance is eXtra-eXtra-ordinary:
  • Its engine is a 6.2L version of Enzo's 6.0L V12.
  • 800 HP compared to the Enzo's 680.
  • The revised gearbox shifts in less than 100 milliseconds.
  • The radical aero package generates 40% more downforce.
  • Shoes have been upgraded to 19in Bridgestone racing slicks.
  • Brakes are composite ceramic Brembo's.

Wondering how you can get one? Well, only few lucky billionares with a long history of Ferrari purchases and competitive driving experience will be "allowed" to folk over $1.8 million to get into the seat of one. But, you do get to participate in a series of Ferrari organized track events accompanied by your very own pit crew. What a deal !!!
